Danganronpa 2x2 Updates
Release date, delay history, trailers, and everything Spike Chunsoft has actually said.
This hub is the timeline, not the rumor mill. Danganronpa 2x2 was announced in a September 2025 Nintendo Direct as a 2026 title, delayed to early 2027 in July 2026, then locked to January 14, 2027 in a September 2026 Direct. If a social post still says “2026,” it is stale.

Why an updates section exists before launch
Pre-order pages rot. Spec tables grow extra rows. Nintendo Directs overwrite Steam store copy (Steam still lagged on “2026” in places after the date lock). A wiki that only writes “coming soon” is useless. This hub exists so getting started can stay evergreen while dates live here.

- Oct 24, 2025 — Wasabi Mizuta named as Japanese Monokuma.
- Feb 10, 2026 — Psycho Tropical Vacation Package trailer.
- Mar 10, 2026 — English cast returns; announcement video.
- Jul 3, 2026 — Delay to early 2027; Slayhem named; 3D map detailed; producer letter.
- Sep 9, 2026 — January 14, 2027 date; introduction trailer; NA/EU press release.
- Late Aug / Sep 2026 — Switch 2 physical shifts to Game-Key Card (see news).
Staff names (Sakakibara, Suzuki, Marutani, Kodaka, Koizumi, Takada, Gemdrops) belong on returning players as much as here. We repeat producer Sakakibara on the delay because that letter is the source, not a leak.

- Invented patch notes for a game that has not shipped.
- Roblox “codes” lists. Wrong game.
- Steam review scores. There are none yet.
