Danganronpa 2x2 Guides

Spoiler-light tutorials for the 2027 remake and the new Slayhem campaign.

Guides Hub

This hub is the map of every practical Danganronpa 2x2 guide on the wiki. The game is still upcoming — Spike Chunsoft set January 14, 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store — so the pages below focus on decisions you can make now: which mode to start, which platform to buy, how a Class Trial actually works, and how to keep spoilers from leaking between Original and Slayhem.

If you only open one article, start with the getting started guide. It explains the killing-school-trip loop without dumping case solutions, then points you at shopping and cast pages.

What this hub covers

Each of those pages links to siblings in this same category so you can hop without going back to search.

How we keep spoilers in boxes

Original mode is a remaster of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (2012). Plenty of players already know who died and who lied. Slayhem is a new scenario with different victims, culprits, and tricks. This hub never names Slayhem killers. When an Original-mode fact is widely known from the 2012 game, we still avoid trial-by-trial solutions here; those belong in a post-launch walkthrough, not a pre-order wiki.

Use the cast hub for talent names and voice actors, and the watch list if you want a spoiler-light “who should I pay attention to” ranking instead of a PvP tier list. Danganronpa 2x2 is single-player. There is no competitive ladder.

Suggested reading order

  1. Getting started — loop, tone, time estimates.
  2. Original vs Slayhem — pick a first campaign.
  3. Platforms — resolution, frame rate, no Switch 1↔2 save move.
  4. Pre-order — Standard $59.99 vs Psycho Tropical Vacation Package $139.99.
  5. Class Trial — Truth Bullets and debate flow.
  6. World map — five islands, fast travel, 3D layout.
  7. Returning players — what changed besides the paint job.
  8. Game-Key Card — if your cart is Switch 2 physical.
  9. Special Trial Version — event demos vs Deluxe trial; still no public Steam download.

After that, jump to launch news or the edition comparison tool if you are ready to spend money.

What we will add after launch

The moment the game is actually out, this hub will grow chapter walkthroughs, Free Time gift lists, and a spoiler-tagged Slayhem case index. Until January 14, 2027, we stay on official facts: staff (Kodaka supervising, Yoichiro Koizumi on scenario, Masafumi Takada on sound), playtime (about 30 hours Original, about 35 hours Slayhem), and the hardware table from the official site. If a retailer contradicts Spike Chunsoft, we flag it on the news page.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you pre-order or pick a mode.

Where should a complete beginner start?

Open the getting started guide, then Original vs Slayhem. You do not need the 2012 game installed.

Will these guides spoil Slayhem?

No. Pre-launch pages describe structure, not who dies. Cast pages stick to talents and announced voice actors.

Is there a codes page?

No. This is a premium single-player release, not a live-service or Roblox title. Use official links for storefronts instead.
