A killing school trip, rebuilt for modern hardware
Danganronpa 2x2 rebuilds the Jabberwock Island killing game as a single-player detective adventure with two full campaigns. Original mode retells *Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair* with new visuals. Slayhem mode starts from the same cast and island, then branches into different victims, culprits, and tricks after one incident — about 20% longer than Original, per Spike Chunsoft. Both modes are unlocked from the title screen, so you do not have to finish one to start the other. Travel now uses a 3D world map instead of the old side-scroller. If you are new, begin with the getting started guide, then meet the returning cast and lock a platform before pre-order.

When does Danganronpa 2x2 come out?
Spike Chunsoft set a worldwide date of January 14, 2027 for Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series, Steam, and Epic. See the release date page.
Do I need to play Danganronpa 2 first?
No. Original mode is a full remaster of that story, and Slayhem is a new route with the same cast. Returning players should still read the returning player guide so spoilers stay contained.
Is this a Roblox game?
No. Danganronpa 2x2 is a single-player console and PC title from Gemdrops and Spike Chunsoft. It is not a Roblox experience and has no codes or scripts.
Which languages does the game support?

Can I transfer Switch saves to Switch 2?
